How this works. Your password never leaves this phone, and neither do your notes. They are scrambled on the device with your password as the key — so nobody else can read them. Not Ken, not TSG, not anyone.
That also means nobody can recover it for you. Lose the password and the notes are gone. Back up weekly from the Backup tab.

This saves a scrambled copy you can keep in your files, email to yourself, or drop in iCloud. It stays locked with the same password, so it is safe to store anywhere.
Restore from a backup
New phone, or cleared your browser? Pick your backup file and enter the password you made it with.
Worth knowing
Everything is stored inside this browser on this phone. If you clear your browsing data, or delete the app from your home screen and clear Safari, the notes go with it. That is the cost of keeping it off anyone else's computer.
So: save a backup at the end of each week. It takes about ten seconds.
Change your password
Re-locks everything on this phone with a new one. Old backup files still open with the old password.
